Hello from snowy Finland!
During my time in Finland I'm going to graduate (hopefully) and my next step is moving to Germany! I will tell a little bit here about the arrangements and what I need to do before I can actually leave.
At the moment, I need to get rid of a lot of stuff. In my move, I can only take 5 cubic meters, and that's not a lot. Luckily most of my furniture is not something that I'm completely in love with, so I'll be only taking my couch and an armchair. They were built to last forever and I'm probably a little bit in love with them. No offense to my bed, which I'm just going to abandon here and never look back. We've had nice past 10 years together and now it's time to move on.
The actual moving arrangements went fine, as we surprisingly have a moving company in the family, who are specialised in moving stuff to Europe, lucky me!
I still have some stuff to do with my school, but my thesis starts to look like it's going to be finished soon. I'm feeling happy and sad at the same time about finishing school; it's something that I've done since I was 7. Good thing is that I won't be dependent on the student money anymore. What I'm a little bit afraid of, is that I need to find a job in Germany. I'm not so great with German yet, I can manage but I get confused sometimes. I'm quite often confused, but I just freeze in some discussions, can't get a word right. Then I usually just flee and hope that no one noticed me. I guess that in some places it's ok to speak English too, but I definitely want to learn. I just feel sometimes a little bit pressure coming my way...
Oh well, I guess I'll do just fine. I just hope that the weather would get warmer for a moment, I'd love to get my bike to some other gear than 1st... It's not pleasant.
